Announcing the Fourth Annual Bright Hills Bardic Bear-Pit
Join us in the Japanese Garden February 12th for a festive occasion at Bright
Hills Birthday and Investiture and fight for the right to entertain...

This year the Bardic Bear-Pit will be run by last year’s winner, Lady Faye de
Trees, and we expect the creator of this event, Lord Richard Wyn, to be joining
in the sport! The Bear-Pit features 2 bards competing at a time with the weapon
chosen by Lady Faye. In each round the weapon will be announced and the winner
of the previous round will face their challenger with the new weapon of choice.
What weapons do we use in bardic? Well, you could be challenged with dance,
song, poetry, storytelling or pick any of these upon the challenge of a theme.
Some of the challenges will relate to theme of the event and you may even be
challenged by the Baronage or our Royals who will be in attendance for
investiture, as is their right and whim. So arm yourselves well for the
challenge or join the audience to be well entertained and to vote for your
favorites, down to the last bard standing! Please sign up if you wish to compete
at Check-in the morning of the event and contact Lady Faye if you have need of
more information at feataure at gmail.com
