[MR] A&S issue

It's been a rare occasion when I've been asked to judge A&S, but a couple of times circumstances were such that I was asked. That said, if documentation is considered "optional" for a competition I'm judging I wouldn't score it at all unless the rules stated that documentation would be considered for a bonus or something. (IMHO, anything noted as "optional" should not be required for a hypothetical "perfect" score.)

If the exhibitor/competitor provides something (such as documentation) that is considered "optional" for something I'm judging, then even if I don't score it I will critique it to the best of my ability within the available time. I will, however, do my best to be KIND even while being tough. Perhaps I won't meet my own ideals in that, but dammit I'll at least try.
