Actually -- I'm working on developing an EZ-Doc form that can either be given to entrants to fill out at competition check-in to put by their work, OR that entrants can fill out online and print out and bring in.  It's sort of a stepping-stone for people who don't really know where to start when they're doing a write-up.  Or "Mad Libs" Documentation, if you want to think of it that way. ;-)

(We've been having a bit of an interkingdom discussion on this topic over on my Facebook page at http://facebook.com/linkspages -- well, it's mostly "Karen rants about documentation-writing, and other people post comments and we have a conversation" -- and someone described a related form that was used at a competition in Ealdormere.  Looks like an interesting option, and maybe it's something that can be adopted by A&S officers who want to get more people entering displays & competitions.)

The EZ-Doc form is going to be in a generic format at first, but will probably get developed into more specific formats for different interest areas once the generic version is nailed down.  It's not going to be an official form of the SCA in general or Atlantia in particular; just a helpful tool that anyone can use.

I'm planning on doing some documentation-writing workshops in northern Atlantia in 2012.  Information on when & where will be posted once it's a bit more nailed-down.
