Greetings Atlantia,
This is a last minute missive to clear up any confusion about the A&S competitions at the 30 Year Event this weekend.
1. A&S Registration is closed for those competitions/activities that required pre-registration: Persona Triathlon, Performing Arts*, Artisan’s Row, Royal Scribal Challenge**.
* Mistress Dervila may correct me on this if I am wrong.
**You will not find the Royal Scribal Challenge on the Kingdom of Atlantia 30 Year Event website since it was a late addition to the event. Baroness Willow was overwhelmed with the positive response to this contest via scribal lists and the Merry Rose and thus registration for this contest is closed as well.
2. For those contests/displays for which pre-registration was optional, I encourage you to bring your arts & sciences to the event:
Heraldic – There is no set display in the A&S Competitions Tent, nor any registration. Just show up to the event looking fabulous! This is a write-in populace vote at A&S point.
Arrow-Making Competition – Pre-registration was to help us get a sense of how many tables we’d need. You can still compete even if you didn’t pre-register. Bring your arrows!
Open Display - Again, pre-registration was to help us get a sense of how many tables we’d need. You can still display even if you didn’t pre-register. Bring your A&S!
For those contests where “stuff” is being displayed, you do not have to be present to win. I hope to see a great many artisans this weekend!
YIS,
Lady Amie Sparrow
30 A&S Coordinator
(If someone would please cross-post to the Merry Rose, I would appreciate it. Thanks!)
