Greetings Donal Mac Ruiseart,
    I personally would love the idea of a drum during the procession.... would you like to walk in the procession or just as they walk into court??  I don't think it will bother the horses either.... It would definately add to the ambiance!

A while ago, there were a couple of posts about the use of a drum in the Procession at 30 Year.

I posted a couple of inquiries, because I have a drum - a full size rope-tension "field drum"  It was once a snare drum but when I acquired it it was in a state of disrepair and the snare mechanism was of no use, so I removed the snares.

It's a bit bulky, so I only want to bring it if I know there's a good chance that it'll be used.

Please, will whoever brought this idea up contact me about it?
