My Pennsic highlight is always the A&S Display on Monday of war week.  It is
the one thing I schedule everything else around.  The level of geek is off
the charts and so awesome to absorb.  haha.  Finding others with a love of
metalwork and enameling and getting to talk about our work is worth a whole
day!  Getting to display the work of my friends who can't be there is lots
of fun too.

 

I was able to teach two classes - one on Enameling through Period and one an
Intro to Silk Painting.  36 people (!!) walked away with a painted silk
handkerchief and I am very excited about all those folks bringing painted
silk to war next year.  

 

The other major highlight was the magic of Lodge Night and my husband
officially joining the household as a squire.

 

There is simply nothing else like our hobby, this game, we play.  Love
Pennsic!
