[MR] WoWVI - Two worthy causes & One request (please cross-post)

We are all winding down from Pennsic War and get ready for War of the
Wings. While we are enjoying this time with friends, there are others
fighting a "War" for their lives.
Each year at WoW we have had fundraising activities in support of Breast
Cancer research. It has been a small way for us to honor those who have gone
and support those still fighting. This year at War of the Wings we are
expanding our charity focus a bit. We will be raising money for two
organizations....

American Cancer Society (ACS) - Everyone of us knows someone touched by
cancer, everyone..... We can be part of the solution, we can help find cures
and help get people the treatment they need.

St Jude's Children's Research Hospital (St. Jude's) - Sick children.... just
typing it is upsetting. IWe can bring comfort, support, and help make their
fight a little easier.

On that schedule are a couple of things that I need your help to pull off.
The Silent Auction and the Kids Only SCA Yard Sale.

I am seeking donations for both.....

For the silent auction - Goods & Services! Goods -  artwork, jewelry, that
beautiful garb that no longer fits, the extra helm that you never use,
etc... Services - one on one classes, cook a period meal, pack mule (pack up
or setup help), etc... Goods/Services - song or poem written for the winner,
custom scroll, herald for hire, etc.....

For the Kids Yard Sale - Gently worn garb, period-esque toys, SCA equipment
your child has grown out of (armor, weapons, bow, arrows, etc...), anything
else you can think of that your average SCAdian kid might like.

I will be at Flight of the Falcon and Raven's Cove Baronial Birthday if you
have items to donate and wish to drop them off. We will gladly take
donations at WoW as well. If there is another event that you could get to
contact me and I will see if I can find a person to pick up your donations.

Thank you in advance for your support of these activities and all of the
