Without each and every one of you, our society would not be so wonderfully
diverse, spirited and talented. So please join us as the Barony of Lochmere
celebrates its birthday by welcoming and honoring everyman (woman and
child).

Marshal Activities: Heavy: Double-elimination tourney – be ye Duke, Knight,
Unbelt or Novice…open to all authorized fighters. Additionally, there will
also be a 3-man spear tourney. Syr Christian Darmody will be the MIC and any
questions should be addressed to him at clintdarby[AT]gmail.com.

Youth combat: Youth heavy tourney has been scheduled between the heavy
double-elimination tourney and the Spear tourney.

Entertainment: The Barony of Lochmere is proud to present the 15th century
play, “Everyman”. The premise of Everyman is that the good and evil deeds of
one's life will be tallied by God after death, as in a ledger book. The play
is the allegorical accounting of the life of Everyman, who represents all
mankind. In the course of the action, Everyman tries to convince other
characters to accompany him in the hope of improving his account.

Arts & Sciences Activities:

The following A&S activities are provided to encourage everyone to
participate:

Two competitions will be held for the best item inspired by a character from
the Everyman play: Everyman, God, Death, Fellowship, Kindred, Cousin,
Material Goods, Good Deeds, Knowledge, Confession, Discretion, Strength,
Everyman's Five Wits, Beauty, Angel, Doctor. Documentation as always, is
encouraged but not mandatory for participation.

- Best Mask
- Best article (can be medium of any choice but must
be inspired by a character from the play)

For the children, a workshop will be held for the making of masks, after
which they will be put on display in the arts and science area for all to
admire.

As always, a Novice Compeition will also be held for any new skill learned
in the last year as well as an Open Display area.

All are welcome and encouraged to display their fabulous items. Questions?
