I'm not trying to be insulting. I'm trying to inject a little perspective into the topic. Actually, my point is that no one should allow themselves to be embarrassed by someone criticizing their pastimes. Especially when the person doing the criticizing does not share said pastime. ( I was actually responding to the comment someone (I can't remember who) made about being told "I can't believe you read that" or some such thing. ) 

I would think SCAdians, of all people, could relate pretty easily to the concept of people judging negatively a pastime that they themselves do not engage in.

Well, if you think something positive might come of it, sure.

I imagine if they are secretly lurking here while giving someone else a hard time about openly being here, I pretty much already have. At least as far as message boards go.  If they are not lurking here, then I guess my comments don't pertain to them anyways and it's irrelevant. So again, sure.
