I have been in tears most of this morning.               For Duke Logans need to be right by solving this problem with a single proclamation so he can get on to other things.                                                For those folks who have never had to question their own ability to control events, (may they never be unfortunate wnough to learn differently the hard way)                                                                         For the families and loved ones of abuse survivors  (and those who did not survive) who despite all their efforts and love, could not see the future or second guess a mind so sick and  twisted as to  plot crimes noone else could have dreamt in their worst night mares.                                                      For all the victems and survivors, including myself, who, in the process of just being normal children, were robbed of said childhood .                                                        For those of us of another generation who were aware of the " UPSTANDING PILLARS OF THE COMMUNITY" with the cracks in their foundation who found ways to populate girls reform schools with "Pathological liars" And the militaary with quiet brooding sldiers(boys could inlist  and go to a warzone!)                                                       For the innocents feeling shame ,pain,, anger, fear, and all sorts of bad feelings that years later still, in the middle of a , (to anyone else,)  normal life, seep up like bile to ruin the taste in the moment, turn comfort into not and make your current company , at best, wonder if it was something they did or said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                                                    The SCA was formed on the ideals of chivalry and courtesy........YIS

Duke Logan, it is my very sincere hope that you never get caught in such a trap. I can agree that this has turned into a witch hunt. Not about the person who was caught but about any others who are labeled as Predator, Monster,etc  making them something less than human. Social Workers hear all sorts of terrible stories, many true, many false. Lies brought about by vengeful mothers trying to destroy the fathers life can be difficult to prove and yes a father can be convicted as a child molester solely on the word of the mother. A mother can claim that a father molests their daughter (backed up by the now terrified child who has already been grilled over what 'daddy did to you' even when false and mortified at the possibility of losing mother too, yes this could potentially be you Logan), whom do you think the Social Workers and Courts are going go believe. Teachers being accused of molesting their students only to be proven innocent when the student(s)
 are angry over bad grades they have gotten. The stigma c
