[MR] hurricane irene

This reminds me that the important ladies in my life that weren't blood
relatives, are my cat(s).

The mother cat was pregnant, and rescued stuck in a rose bush trying to swim in
the flood waters of Hurricane Fran. A daughter cat is still with me, though a
very aware of her importance as the senior ruling member of the home remains my
girlfriend, Silk.

The Governor said tonight that the State is set up to handle any pets that must
be left behind. She didn't elaborate.
