ive talked to several folks in his immediate area.  some knew him, others
did not (either by name or face).  all suggested he did the renn-fair stuff
much more than the sca.  still, some folks knew him.

again, if parents protected their children we wouldnt have this topic.  it
really is that simple.  im sure 46 folks, who are all apparent experts, will
chime in with "facts" about what and who a predator is.  then someone will
chime in with how every organization has predators.  then someone will
mention their church and how safe its youth stuff is......  or the scouts
and how safe they are (unless, of course, youre gay or an atheist), and then
something else.

if you made a baby you made a job.  do it.  nothing else need be said!

Very true

I'm more concerned at this point with us getting scapegoated on this. How
active was this guy really? The stories say he was heavily involved, but
then only mentions only that he worked at a renn faire. Was he a member? Was
he active? Did he just show up to a few events. This should be pretty easy
to find out. I hope the local groups involved are looking into this and
getting ready for possible negative media coverage.
