Greetings, Atlantia!
I am thrilled to have been selected as Atlantia's new Kingdom Web Minister
and expect to take over the Office at Crown Tourney. I am looking forward
to building upon the great work that Maestra Cassandra has put in place
before me. With some of the changes to Law and Policy at both the Kingdom
and Society level, I anticipate a great deal of work for the Office over the
next few years.
As Their Majesties set about selecting a candidate for the position, They
did so with the expectation that whomever was selected would reorganize the
office and provide for more of an Information Technology Office than
"merely" managing our web site. This job has been becoming somewhat more
than a single person should be expected to manage for some time now, and
that's prior to some of the changes that we are working with. I can only
applaud the dedication that Cassandra has demonstrated during her term in
office. To combat this and to ensure that anyone who takes on the job does
not become burned out, we intend to expand the scope of the Office so that
many people work on individual projects. The Kingdom Web Minister will
guide those projects and advise Their Majesties as required on what
Information Technologies can be leveraged to serve the Kingdom. I am
pleased to have the opportunity to do so and expect to be announcing several
deputy positions to be filled in relatively short order. The logistics of
what those positions will be and what their scope of responsibilities will
be are still being worked out with Their Majesties, so please bear with me
for now. I know that I can use all of the help that I can get in the
meantime to help fulfill Atlantia's Information Technology needs over the
coming years. I am seeking anyone who is interested in helping out, and
will find a way to put your skills to use whether it be on a short term
project basis or a longer-term deputy officer role.
I am particularly seeking people with skills in Graphics Design, Web Design,
Web Coding, Content Management, IT Security, Relational Databases, PHP, and
Email Management. Content Editing and Usability Testing are also valuable
skills which don't happen to be on my current critical path at the moment.
If you can do any of these and are interested in helping out, please send me
your name, email address, and a list of your skills and interests. You don't
need to be willing to take on an office for the long term, or able to do all
of the work to get any of the projects to fruition. If there are particular
projects which you are particularly interested in helping with, please let
me know that as well.
There is now a mailing list that is being used to discuss projects and
proposals for the Web Minister's Office. If you are interested in
contributing, you can subscribe by visiting:

For those who have already added their voices to the Web Projects list, I
appreciate each of your contributions and hope that you will continue to
work with me as the Office moves forwards.
Thanks!
