[MR] Tourney of Friends: Armored Scenarios (May 14th in Windmasters Hill)

*Armored  Warriors of Atlantia! 
On behalf of Master Achbar...and Lord Tankred bras de fer I bid you greetings! 
With spring in the air and war rumbling in the not too distant future…..it is time to bring yourselves down to Windmasters Hill on May 14th for: 
                  *Le Grand Tournoi de Amitie, the Great Tourney of Friends*, 
Fight through and Conquer is the theme.  Three teams will rotate into three positions of Attacker (you get the Combat Archers), Bridge Defenders and Castle Keep Defenders. The team the fights through and conquers the resurrection point inside the castle keep in the shortest time will be the victor of three points. The team with the next quickest time 2 points …and the remainder one point.   
Bring your spears, pole arms, great swords… all will affect the battle. 
A short break for water and lunch then…a Bedford points tourney will be offered to continue the fighting and keep the edge and endurance on our majesty’s warriors…. 
The Day will begin with Armor inspections and authorizations at 10am.
The fighting will start shortly after (about 1100 am) and continue through the rest of the day. with a short break for lunch.

Important notes for the day

   - This event tends to be hot and sunny.  Use sunscreen, drink lots of  water,- eat breakfast. 

   - A 70 x 35 foot walkway will separate the Armored list from the Rapier list. In addition, screen netting will be emplaced to act as a backstop for combat archer bolts. This will give those watching the feeling as though they are truly in battle being defended by the brave fighters at the keep doorway.   

   - Attackers will use the closest resurrection point ( have unlimited) Bridge defenders will use their resurrection point and be allowed to fold in to support the Keep’s defenders. Bridge Defenders are allowed two resurrections. Castle Keep defenders are allowed two resurrections. Once an attacker touches the resurrection point (being defended….) the time stops.   
This event boasts several activities for you and your family: Arts and Sciences, Children’s, Equestrians Archery, are to name a few  
 
This is a wet site so feel free to socialize after fighting……,  . 
 
Hot showers are available for men and women (four each) and flat open ground for your tents.
