Just a note - at Highland Foorde's Scottish Moose Tales Collegium,  in addition
to Barun Siegfried's beer tasting class, the Middle Eastern brewing class
could include a bit of tasting as well.  Contributions would be gratefully
received, of course.  Since this class is scheduled before lunch (beer tasting
is right after lunch) participants may want to pace themselves.

We'll be talking about what modes of brewing existed and what beverages are
still available today.  Given we're covering a huge geographic region and a lot
of centuries, it'll be a high-level look, but there's lots for us to look at.
Beer, wine, and distilled spirits have ancient lineage; coffee, koumiss, wine
vinegar and some tribal beverages make guest appearances.  Our Middle Eastern
personas and intrepid travellers to those regions need not suffer from drinking
mere water!

Cheers,
Baroness Sorcha
