Good Gentles, attend your cooking fires.
There will be a baking and cooking competition in keeping
with a "Siege Food" theme. Creativity and documentation are
strongly encouraged, and an ingredients list is required. The items
will be sampled and voted on by the populace. There are kid (up to 16 years)
and adult categories.
There will be an open display of newly completed projects, and works in progress (for
all ages.)
We have classes in fingerloop braiding and singing period songs in the round, with an emphasis on the work of Thomas Ravenscroft (for all ages and skill levels, keeping it simple and fun.)
Lady Isabel HenryVert, a mortar and pestle Or and on a chief argent four lozenges purpure

As with any event, all times are approximate and subject to change as needed.
I checked the national weather service this morning and it seems the storms earlier this week have changed the forecast. As of the moment, the forecast is for 67 degrees with few showers - a 30% chance - but remember it is springtime in Virginia and this could change again!
This is an ALL WEATHER EVENT! We have a COVERED PAVILLION suitable for fighting under if need be AND a HALL! So come on out and enjoy the day with your cousins!
In Service,
Lady Elizabeth Tender Herte
Autocrat
PS. Remember to bring your Passports - we have the stamp for them, and bring your feast gear and drinking vessel for the dayboard!
See you on Saturday!
