[MR] Equestrian Practice Central Region

Over-view:  This particular practice will glean only 4 horses. Bogart, Jake, Marguerite, And Sir Fin’s Horse.  The MOL has informed me that she is unable to attend. As a result…a rehearsal of the systems being used at WoW V must be conducted. The below is a general time line.  The month of September has been a very busy month for the Lance of Saint Anthony and it’s resources like many… have been strained.  Never the less… WoW V has always been our largest equestrian event and a rehearsal is needed.  Our equipment must be employed, tested and maintenance can be identified and implemented. 
    Feast details have not been injected to this training.  A simple meal of franks and beans has been planned to keep us going.  I will be on site Friday for a few hours, and Saturday all day. I plan to leave site by 9 pm. 
 
Time Line:
Friday 3 pm-complete
            Set up arena  (235x100)
            Erect LSA with rain top
            Enplace temp electric tape paddock system (3 stalls) 20 x 40.
 
Saturday
            9 am to dark:
Conduct:
- a mock procession (handlers/riders as grooms) 
            - Mounted Joust (shuttle helmet to Rider after intro)
            - re-set arena for challenge course
                        -use scoring card/centralized scoreboard
            -After Action Review
                        -beef franks, beans, chips and cold drinks
            Off site by 9 pm
 
 
Training Objectives:
 
Set up LSA (tent)
            -weave rain proof top
            -create armorial displays around edge (18)
            -incorporate information kiosk 
Set up Arena 235 x 100
    PROOF:
-rings
            -pig sticking
            -reeds
            -heads
            -spear
            -score board
Standardize Helm display stand for Gallery of Helms
 
Adjust Armor of riders, train additional riders on mounted joust and challenge course.
