[MR] Costume Cheating-Ruff

Warning:  Costume Cheating Follows!

So...you've always wanted one of those monstrous lace ruffs like these:

But the lace is impossible to find.  You COULD take up lacemaking, and  
you probably would be finished, like me,  in "A.S. probably never."  
Just not my cup of tea, but I can show you my research and my  
attempts.  Really I can.
