Good evening, folks, from Gise, your friendly and very tired Land Steward for War of the Wings!
I've already responded to Baroness Gwynwilf privately, but judging from the number of panicked emails the Event Steward and I are getting, I thought it best to clear this up on the Merry Rose.
Her Excellency confused a note from her household's land steward stating about 20 folks were pre-regged for their ~household~ encampment with the pre-reg for the entire event.
Trust me, folks, I have HUNDREDS of pre-regged folks neatly and safely tucked into their requested Encampments. On the order of 600 of you.
Rest assured, folks, your pre-reggs and land requests are being processed.
If you haven't gone to the Land Steward Page and actually ASKED for land, however, you might want to do that. http://www.warofthewings.com/land.htm If you don't tell me where you want your land allotted, your group won't have the land you need.
Anyway ... back to crunching numbers and sending e-mails to Land Agents! Have a great night, travel safely and see you all in two and a half weeks!!

wow is coming, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever! but, so far,
it looks like only a handful, about 20 people, have made their land reservations
for wow. now I know more than 20 people are coming to camp at wow. do you really
want to wait forever in line to register at troll, then drive the land steward
crazy trying to place a few hundred folks?
are you a merchant, that like last year, just showed up, demanding space?
I know sometimes we don't know until the last minute we are coming to an event,
but if you do know, you really need to first, preregister, then contact the land
steward, then the merchantcrat, if applicable. it's easier for you and a small
and very busy wow staff.
if you are not sure, maybe email them and let them know you may be coming, so
they can get an idea of how much space will be needed. I know they will
appreciate it. See you there! gwyn.
