I will make sure to bring enough cook books to War of the Wings. I think half of your Barony bought these at the Golden Rose Tourney. I told the others I would make sure to bring more at War of the Wings.

I don't understand what you mean about stereotyping backward hillbillies, but I will have some of our books illustrated with easy to follow pictures for these hillbillies you speak of. Are they family members of yours, or part of the Barony?

  Hugs,

Sigh. I really was not trying to point out the stereotype of the backward
hillbilly. Phoenix Catch-a-Toro...the phoenix does the catching. Silly cow
  people...

I've seen the Chick-fil-A commercials on TV. I know that cows are challenged in
the area of scribal arts, and would be most amused to see one of these
cookbooks. I presume you will have them at War of the Wings?

  Why Thank you.

Sacred Stone came to mind when I was working on this cook book. However, your
version of Phoenix Cacciatore is a new one to me. Every village has a favorite
way of preparing a dish that may be known by the same name throughout the
Kingdom, but uses different ingredients, you use bull, we use phoenix...grin.
You gotta try it....Can I put you down for a couple of Cook Books?

  Phoenix Cacciatore (FEE-nix Catch-a-TOR-ee)

Phoenix: a great bird of might, flame and cunning.
Tore: from the Italian *toro*, meaning 'bull'.

A delicious beef dish, named for the mighty creature who catches the livestock
and tears from it the most tender parts, and roasts them over a fiery flame.
Served in a sauce of southern grown tomatoes and pasta.

How thoughtful of Stierbach to include a favorite recipe of Sacred Stone!

  Good Afternoon.

I am happy to announce that the Barony of Stierbach Cookbook; "The Barony of
Stierbach's Collection of Favorite Phoenix Recipes" will be available this
  weekend at Storvik's Investiture.

It is a must have item for the kitchen. The finest cooks from the surrounding
areas have donated their favorite recipes for this limited edition. With the
success of this cookbook, plans for another cannot be far behind.

Every recipe in this cookbook will become a favorite in no time. Just think,
not only can you make "Phoenix Cacciatore" (submitted by Mistress Martelle von
Charlottenbrg), but you will also be able to speak English with a really bad
  Italian Accent..!

The price for this book is One Dollar..! That is right, one dollar will get you

23 recipes that will delight your family and friends the next time you cook.
Why this book is priced so low that rumors have come to me that the Baron of
Sacred Stone has raised the taxes in his Barony so he can afford it!!

Warning: You are gonna want to buy more than one! Think how fabulous this will

make for a 12th night gift for all of your friends in Sacred Stone..! Don't
wait until it is too late to purchase these. Once they are gone, they will
  become collector's items.

Please cross post. If you have any questions, you can contact me at
  garadh at verizon.net.

  YIS,
  Cairistiona
  Seller of fyne cook books

Note: This is a private fundraiser with the funds to be used to purchase snacks

for the celebration party the Barony is planning at War of the Wings. Any
monies not spent will be donated to charity to be named later.
