Just over a month from now Nottinghill Coill will be hosting a Try It &  
Newcomers Day (see flyer for complete details below) and we'd like to invite 
one  and all to attend!  This will be an interactive day with a chance to 
take  classes, learn new skills and share your knowledge, and hopefully try out 
 something you've always wondered about with the SCA.  There is  still room 
for classes in all areas especially needed are activities  around the 
marshaled activities we so enjoy (there will be room for picks up as  well for 
those who want the practice)!  And to end the day, we'll be having  a pot luck 
feast filled with good food, lots of laughter and friends old and  new!  
Plus it will be a chance to bring your newcomers and long timers to a  relaxed 
day where you do only what you want to do!  The real bonus to all  this??? 
IT"S FREE!!!!!  So come and join us for what will be a day you'll  remember!
 
If you'd like to teach a class or want room for displays or even want to  
share with others things you do or know about the SCA contact me and we'll

Ever wanted to try a new art or craft? Want to find out more about  
fighting or archery? Want to learn some new recipes? Want to just get away  
from all the Turkey Day left overs? Well here’s your chance! Come join us  
on Saturday, November 27 for Try It Day! A day filled with hands on classes 
 
and marshaled activities. For those new to the SCA it’s a chance to try  
out different activities and maybe find something you love….For the more  
experienced, it’s a chance to try something you’ve never done before! And  
after the day is over, there will be a pot luck feast in the hall! So grab  
your gear (garb is optional but encouraged!) and join us…there’s sure to 
be  something for 
everyone. 

If you are interested in teaching a class or sharing your knowledge  with 
others, let us know and we’ll set aside some space and time for you.  And 
for those with a fighting mind, there is ample room for heavy, rapier  and 
archery. ALL levels of interest and skill are welcomed. This would be a  
real opportunity to talk with those who are skilled in YOUR areas of  
interest! 

Feast will be pot luck! This means many items to choose from,  so you get 
a chance to sample a variety of dishes. The ‘cost’ of feast is a  dish 
that serves about 8 people. 
The real bonus to all this??? It’s  FREE!!!!!!!!!
