[MR] food and ghoulish fun at Treaty of Troyes

Friends:

I have delicious news for those coming to the Treaty of Troyes: -- the feast 
menu, and confirmation that the Children's Feast / Halloween Party will happen. 


First, the feast menu:

Roast Pork Loin
Apple sauce
Mistress Bec's Mustard
Cabbage and Leeks with Bacon
Baked Fish in Almond Milk
Roast Onion Salad
Bread- sourdough french

Entremet- pomegranate salad

Second Course
Farced chicken- either sausage or turkey stuffing
Pate
Cariota
Roasted Butternut Squash
Stuffed Celery Root?

Dessert Course
Plum Tarts
Apple Tarts 
served with creme fraiche


And while the adults are stuffing themselves on fall delicacies, the children 
will be involved in gory doings, (maybe even handling body parts!), culminating 
in their transformation into ghosts, goblins and all sorts of strange beings who 
will then invade the adult feast and demand treats! [Translation: children are 
invited to bring their Halloween costume to wear while trick-or-treating the 
feast hall. They will then return to their party.]

WORD to the WISE for those attending the feast: Bring treats, that you may bribe 
the monsters and save yourself a terrible fate!
