Greetings unto the populace,
Again I find myself in the wonderful position of being able to
share my perspective of one of our great events: War of the Wings V. Even though
the Phoenix was felled by the mighty bull of the north, the event was truly
remarkable. I wish to thank everyone who made this event as great as it was. I
would name those who helped Lady Murienne la Aloiere pull off this amazing feat,
but there are just too many to remember and I would rather leave that to the
people who are trained in that sort of thing. Thank you all for helping to
create a Pennsic-like atmosphere.
Alas, due to pain, fatigue and the sheer distance from the archery
range, I was unable to make it to the battlefield and personally witness the
defeat of our beloved barony. I have it on good authority, though, that Ursus
was present at the battlefield for the entirety of the battles, so I pray that
we may get to see his wonderful work soon. As for myself, I was able to witness
the Atlatl battle on Friday as well as the joust and A&S on Saturday. Though I
did not get all of the pictures I wanted to get, I hope that everyone has an
opportunity to enjoy what I did get. Hopefully next year my physical well-being
won't betray me as it did this year. The pictures can be found at
www.waywardwolfephoto.com and if there are any questions, please contact me
off-list. Enjoy.
Congratulations to Stierbach and their allies on their stunning
victory and remember, the Phoenix always rises from the ashes. Vivat Atlantia!!
In service to the Kingdom of Atlantia,
Lord Muirghein O'Faolain
Barony of the Sacred Stone
