Greetings unto the great and noble populace, from the tired but content
Event Steward of War of the Wings 5.
I am not going to do a great long thank you naming each person who worked
hard to make this year's WoW happen. Mostly that is because I am slightly
fried and would be horrified if I forgot one single person who worked on the
event.

Instead I will say this....
for the past 12 months the support, encouragement, commitment, hard work,
sacrifice, and humor of the staff of WoWV, has been an inspiration and
energy source for me personally.

for the past week (well always, but more so this week) the populace of my
beloved barony have made me proud to their Seneschale, their current WoW
steward and their friend. Packing, hauling, & assembling the various pieces
and parts that make WoW work.

for the past 4 days, the populace of Atlantia proved once again that this is
the greatest Kingdom in all the known world. The many hours of dedicated
service, the patience, the good natured humor exhibited by those in
attendance was amazing!

This was the fifth year of War of the Wings and we had approx. 1025 people
through the gate. WoW is a living breathing entity, changing, growing,
progressing, getting bigger and better. Thank you to EACH and every one of
you!
