Unto the Populace of fair Atlantia, greetings from Talorgen Hersir on this
fine October day. I have just returned from War of the Wings V, at which I
had the honor of coordinating the Court of Their Majesties Bryan and
Brianna. As my voice had long since departed, I was most ably assisted in
announcing Their business by Lord Cian mac Ceallachain hUi Dubhlaich and
Lady Rosanella Vespucci.

Court was opened in the morning and Their Majesties Trimaris, Lorcan and
Grainne, were invited to sit with them to observe the processional. The
Baronies of Sacred Stone and Stierbach did each come forward with great
pageantry to present their grievances against the other. As these
grievances could not be settled peaceably, all of the other Baronies and
Households of the land who could attend did then process and declare their
alliances to one Barony or the other. Once all had declared, His Majesty
proclaimed that there was no other way to settle the dispute but by War, and
did give leave to both Baronies to settle the matter that day. He also
announced that Atlantia would be allied with Trimaris this year at Gulf
Wars. Court was then closed so that the Baronies could resolve their
differences however they might.

Her Majesty did open court upon the archery field during the afternoon to
recognize the achievements of several gentles in archery. That business
will be reported upon separately.

They opened Their evening Court by inviting Their cousins of Trimaris,
Lorcan and Grainne, to sit with Them. They then also invited Baron Flaithri
and Baroness Rhonwen of Stierbach as well as Baron Axel of Sacred Stone as
the warring parties to sit with Them.

Herrin Emeludt Hansler was then called forward to induct two young gentles
into the Atlantian Pages Academy. Hamza and Juliet of Middlegate took their
oaths and were welcomed into the service of Atlantia as Pages.

The newcomers were then asked to come forward and a veritable swarm
descended upon the thrones. We were blessed with many newcomers, all of
whom took a token from the hands of Their Majesties as mementos of their
first event.

Their Majesties asked for the children to attend them. A greater number
than those of the newcomers did come forward. All were given treats from
House Barra and gifts of toys from the Royal Toy Chest, which is now greatly
depleted.

Lady Murienne l'aloiere then came forward to announce the winners of the war
points for the day. The Barony of Stierbach took the day resoundingly, with
18 of the 23 points awarded to their efforts.

Lord Allen of Wolfhau was called forward and invested as the Queen's Archery
Champion.

Dame Morwenna Trevethan then came forward and begged a boon of Their
Majesties. She called into Court Lady Elizabeth of Rosewood, better known
as Shrewlet, and Warren le Shroubere and took their oaths as the newest
members of Atlantia's chirurgeonate.

Lord Andreas de Caunteton was then summoned. A writ was delivered unto him
demanding that he make himself ready with all due preparations to accept the
accolade of membership in the Order of the Pelican, to be done at an event
later in Their Reign.

Lord William Shoprat presented himself at Their request and was inducted
into the Order of the Coral Branch for his artisanship particularly in the
art of armoring.

Gladwyn Barkwith was summoned and Awarded Arms in recognition of the service
and aid which he has provided at events within the Kingdom over the past
several years.

Herrin Gisela vom Kreuzbach did present herself before Their Majesties.
Upon hearing that she was to be raised to the rank of Baroness, the good
Freiherrin nearly fell over backwards in shock.

Lord Cyriac Grymsdale was summoned into Their presence and inducted into the
Order of the Golden Dolphin. After dismissing the Order, Their Majesties
directed Lord Cyriac to bring Them his lady wife.

Lady Lidia de Ragusa was then presented with a Writ demanding that she sit
vigil in contemplation of elevation to the Order of the Laurel, to be done
at Hawkwood Howl in a few short weeks.

Davina of Crois Brigte answered Their Majesties' summons and was Awarded
Arms for her service to the Canton of Crois Brigte and the Barony of Sacred
Stone.

Margaret Obrolchan was then summoned forth and raised to the rank of
Baroness along with a Grant of Arms for her long service to the Barony of
Black Diamond.

Rorik Smior came forward then and was Awarded Arms for his service as Thrown
Weapons Marshal, Archery Marshal, Siege Marshal, MoL, and teaching in those
disciplines.

Barono Bessenyei Rozsa was called to attend Their Majesties. Her work in
the creation of War of the Wings was lauded and she was awarded the Herring
for her work in autocratting that event as well as many others.

Ivarr inn Svarti, known to many as Pinky, came into Court and was Awarded
Arms for his work as a blacksmith, his donations to local events, and his
service and support.

Lady Rebecca the Contrary was called forward and made a Baroness of the
Court for long service to Atlantia, especially in the scribal arts.

Lady Clara Luckenbach was inducted into the Order of the Opal for her long
and unstinting service, especially to the Barony of Sacred Stone.

Sir Daemon Broussard then begged a moment of Their Majesties' time to repay
a debt to Lorcan, King of Trimaris, who had that day given leave that Duke
Martin might fight alongside his former squire brothers rather than in the
service of his King. As the boon had been granted, Sir Daemon did promise
to attend His Majesty at an event of His choosing in His Kingdom and to
fight that day as His man. Duke Ragnarr Blackhammer was moved by this
promise and as his name had been invoked did also swear to come to Gulf Wars
in March to fight on the side of our allies Trimaris and to bring at least
five with him.

Baron Achbar ibn Ali was then summoned into Their presence. Their Majesties
praised the long service of His Excellency, whom They have both known since
before They joined the Society. They then caused to be read a Writ
demanding that Achbar sit vigil in contemplation of his elevation to the
Order of the Pelican, to be done at Twelfth Night.

Court was then closed and the weary populace dismissed to return to their
encampments. I am told that 1025 gentles did attend this grand event and
can attest that all with whom I spoke enjoyed it greatly.

At the State Dinner which Their Majesties hosted later that evening,
thirteen of the seventeen Baronies of Atlantia were represented by their
Baronage. Court was opened briefly so that Ronan of Marinus might be
Awarded Arms before departing the Kingdom once again at the behest of his
country.

This ends my report of the business conducted by Their Majesties Bryan and
Brianna at War of the Wings V. It is true and complete to my knowledge.
Any errors or omissions are my own and should be brought to my attention so
that they might be corrected with all due haste.
