Yes, that is true.  I cannot go because I was just at corning last
weekend for the 49th annual seminar on glass.  Which was AMAZING!  Oh
the library...drool....SQUEE!!  Needless to say the pocketbook and the
huuby protest a second trip.

So people know, it was an easy drive from my house near Fredericksburg
VA at about 6 hours.  The colors are changing and the drive is
picturesque.  Well worth it just for the scenery.

I recommend anyone who ever gets to go to cmog to go check out the Rakow
library.  There are many, many, many resources on all forms of glass.
Rare books that you can touch and request to see.  One of my favorites
was over 150 years old.  Plus all photocopies are free including color
ones. They are open 9am-5pm M-F.
