[MR] Your suggestions please => Newcomers thread

Well, at least I know my ideas must have been good, since they were 
already in use!

That sounds awesome.  Like I said, I don't normally look for a Newcomers 
Point, so if there is one at an event, I may not realize it.

It might not be a bad idea for people to look for Newcomer's Point at 
event, and stop by to say hello to any newcomers that may be there, or 
to even volunteer to stick around and help.
