[MR] Shield Press/Heater Construction

Hello, Friends.
Anyone have any experience in the construction of a curved Heater?  I was 
looking at the plywood in my garage, and I have nothing that seems strong enough 
to withstand the beatings of Rauland or some newbie hunting duke.  As such, I 
have nothing to experiment with that would stand up.  Anyone know how to make a 
shield press and a south-paw Heater?  Juan Carlos or Diego, did you guys make 
Diego's shield or did you buy it?
Lastly, merging into the Heraldry topic, I don't really want a plane shield but 
have no device registered.  What devices or decoration could I put on a shield 
without violating the laws of Heraldry?  

Okay...now Lastly...Come Saturday, I should be coming back with gauntlets, a 
kettle hat, and soup can knees and elbows for a trade I made with a friend from 
the Armour Archive.  I'll have to buy some foam and ask for a class on padding 
cops and helms, as well as one for strapping.
