Greetings fair Atlantia!  I have the pleasure of announcing our schedule of fine classes with excellent teachers! 


Saturday



12 noon :Class:
Retainer 101
Instructor: Dame Adriana la Bretonne, OP
Class
Description: An introduction to being a royal retainer for those
currently serving as a retainer, may possibly be a retainer in the
future, or wonder what the people standing behind the big chairs are
doing. We will discuss the responsibilities, etiquette, and

expectations as well as the benefits of serving your royals or
baronage in this position.
 Class Duration: 1 hour



1 pm : Beginning
Kumihimo
Instructor: Lady Elizabeth
Tendre Heart
Class Description: An
introduction to the art of making cords (Narrow wares) in the
Japanese style. A hands on class.
Class Duration: 1 hour



2pm:  Inkle Loom
Weaving
Instructors:
Arnóra in Rauða & Hjörr Guðmundr
Class Description: Covering
the basics such as, parts of the loom, how to make heddles, how to
warp a simple pattern and how to then weave such pattern. My lord
will be teaching a more advanced pattern called “Pick Up Weaving”
where you pick up certain threads as you go to make them “float”
about the pattern. (Fear not, all will be explained with pictures and
everything!) Please bring an Inkle loom if you have one.

3pm: Beginning
Embroidery Part I
Instructor: Lady Bianca
Cantacuzene
Description:
Hands on introduction to basic stitches.

Brewers Roundtable
Moderator:

			A brewers round table is also being held at Sapphire Joust,
			bring your brew to share with fellow enthusiasts, as we discuss
			the fine art of brewing, and offer tips, tricks, and stories in a
			fun, no-pressure environment.  Must be over 21 to partake.

Elizabethan Embroidery: Reverse Chain Stitch and Detached
Buttonhole  &



2pm:"Elizabethan
Embroidery: Trellis Stitch and Ceylon Stitch 

Instructor: Mistress
Genevieve d'Aquitaine
Description: Hands on embroidery instruction
in four stitch techniques based on the free PDFs created by Tricia
Wilson for the Plimoth Jacket Project. Limited history discussion,
but relevant books to look through will be available. 


3pm: Beginning
Embroidery Part II
Instructor: Lady Bianca
Cantacuzene
Description: Hands on
introduction to basic stitches and more.
