[MR] Demo Help in Highland Foorde

Good gentles, pray still your hammers and looms, lay aside your weapons
for a brief moment, that you may hear tidings of a demo in fair Highland
Foorde.

The Students for Creative Anachronism at Hagerstown Community College
are hosting a demo at the college on Wednesday, 14 April. Set-up and
arrival at 9AM, demo runs from 10AM to 3PM at the same site as last
year, just outside the student cafe on Kepler Drive. Heavy fighters and
fencers, come hither! You will have a fine field upon which to showcase
your martial prowess (and how apt the timing, to tune up your blows
before the Collegium Tourneys to follow on April 17th). Bards and
dancers, may we ask you to demonstrate your art, and any who wish to
display A & S may set up inside the cafe itself. A lunch will be
available to participants. A bake sale, jewelry sale, and "Have your
photo taken in armour" concession will benefit the student
chapter. Bake sale donations will be welcomed.

Directions: From Frederick, take I-70West and take exit 32 (Route 40
West) toward Hagerstown. At Edgewood Drive, turn right (Edgewood
eventually changes name to Robinwood). At the third light, turn left
into the college and take the first left. Follow this and turn right
onto Kepler Drive; keep bearing right and the road dead-ends at the
student centre/cafe. You may unload your gear there and will be advised
on parking at that time.
