[MR] Teachers Wanted!!!

Are you going to Spring Crown, Hidden Mountain Baronial Birthday, Summer
University, Stierbach Baronial Birthday, or Sapphire Joust? If so, then the Pages' Academy need YOU!  We are looking for teachers of Pages' classes for these events. Children can do the same classes as adults (yes, even brewing!), with little modification to your lesson plan. If you are interested, please contact me at deanpages at atlantia.sca.org. I can help modify lesson plans for various age groups, as well as help you decide what age groups would be best suited for the class.  You don't have to be a Peer to teach. If you are Joe Nobody, and know how to finger loop braid, you can teach!  

Also, if you're in need of help at any event, and you see a young one wearing a blue baldric with a white chalice, stop them and ask them for aid! These are our Pages, and the blue baldric is a symbol of their commitment to furthering their education, and learning about the various aspects of the society, including service. So, watch for them, and help them learn about the positive aspects of our society!

Passion, it lies in all of us. Sleeping, waiting, and though unwanted, unbidden it will stir.  Open it's jaws and howl.  It speaks to us, guides us.  Passion rules us all. And we obey. What other choice do we have?  Passion is the source of our finest moments. the joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstasy of grief.  It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace. But we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank.  Without passion, we'd truly be dead.
