Greetings Atlantia,
I had the pleasure of attending KASF this past weekend. We had
wonderful weather and our hosts were most kind to their guests. It was sad
to see a smaller turnout for this event but somehow I suspect the economy is
hitting our travel budgets harder and harder these days. I know I would
have had to stay home had it not been for some very kind friends who made
room for me in their travel plans. Lunch was delightful. But my all time
greatest joy was in the Library Room! What a marvelous idea! What an
excellent collection of research books that people brought and shared with
any who took the time to go and look at some really awesome books.
So I'm hoping that this aspect of KASF will repeat itself in the
future. Possibly even be done at University once in awhile. And my warmest
thanks to Dame Hrothny and her fearsome staff of book guardians who gave up
a lovely day and sat, protecting that wonderful collection of books for
Atlantia to go through, learn form and find some hard-to-find resources. If
you missed the Library you missed a marvelous opportunity!
Looking forward to the return of "The Library Room",
Chagan
