 Greetings to those who do receive this missive from Herrin Gisela vom Kreuzbach in Sacred Stone.

Today is a gorgeous day in the fair Kingdom of Atlantia, this the feast day of Saints Perpetua and Felicity, martyrs of Ancient Rome.

There may be a lot to do, errands to run, a trip to war to pack for, fighter practice to attend, wool to spin, gowns to sew.

But in this day, as you go about your tasks, think on those folks who have excelled in this game we all play. Someone whose hand has turned to fine work, whose sword swings deadly on the field, whose time is spent in service to others in this game. 

Think on those who deserve to be recognized ... You don't have to know them personally. You don't have to like them, even.

But if you think they deserve to be recognized ... 

Go look at their OP Listing at http://op.atlantia.sca.org/ which is organized by their given SCA name to see what awards they have and, more importantly, what they don't have ... fuss and fume if you care to, be amazed, call your SO from the other room and hold forth in amazement that this person doesn't have this specific award or that other award ...  and then WRITE THEM IN.
