Greetings to all who do receive this missive from Herrin Gisela vom Kreuzbach, Neried Herald of Atlantia!

Please share this note with any who will find it of value.

I am privileged to coordinate the Heraldic Track of the marvelous Pennsic University again. We've had a wide range of classes in the last few years and I'm always happily surprised at the fruits our teachers bring.

I know Pennsic seems a long way off but the deadline for the booklet is an absolute MAY 1. Which means I MUST HAVE class information for the heraldic track by Wed. April 28. That's less than two months.

If you are willing to share your knowledge please go to the University page and pre-register your class. http://www.pennsicwar.org/penn39/AANDS/PENNU/index.html This will be forwarded to me. I would also appreciate personal contact so I can make the best schedule for both students and teachers.

What sort of classes do we need? Classes directed to non-heralds, to very experienced heralds, to new and mid-range heralds ... We need classes that are specific to different cultures ... these are often the best attended heraldic classes as people strive for culturally correct personae.

Voice Heraldry - Court, Tourney and Crying the camp.
Heraldic Display (we had one a few years ago on heraldic underwear .... =o)
Book Heraldry - Names, Devices, Research & Heraldic Art
Submission Processing - How it works, why it works, Commentary, Fixing issues
Cultural Specific - How was heraldry used in Japan? What specific naming practices did 15th Century Finns use? How did Mongols display war banners? Did Mongols have war banners? How might German households have named themselves? Ottoman guilds? Moorish fighting units?

Who can teach? Anyone with good information to share. Seriously. Teaching at Pennsic is just not that difficult. It's no harder than teaching at a local event but chances are you don't know your students before you set foot in the tent.

Please contact me at Gisela.vomKreuzbach at gmail.com with any questions or with information concerning your teaching preferences.

Be well and travel safely.
