[MR] Census Worker At Your Door

When I was looking up information on my family geneology, the first place I
started was the population information that is released by the Census like
every 50-60 years; it was a thrill for me and my Grandmother to find her
name and family information listed. This listed the address, and each member
living at that address. People who work on their family geneology history
rely on the Federal Census records to find family members on their family
tree.

Having a Census Worker come to your door costs the Government $60 a
visit--at the tax payers expense. I can think of better ways for the
Government to spend $60.

The Census helps allocate funding for your local community, funding for
schools, road projects, etc... Having that funding sent somewhere else
because you take the Census as a joke?

Sometimes you have to put your idea of nonsense aside and do the right
thing. This is one of those times.
