M'lord Donal,

Well, I can see where you might get that idea. That story would be a
neat film, though it has been done before. I suppose the writers would,
as usual, leave out the contribution of the NAUGATUCK (aka the Stevens
Floating Battery), an equally interesting ship that arrived right after
the famous naval duel. But I digress here, so back to the middle ages.

After I made my initial post on the film, I found two more related film
clips: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/wales/8374379.stm and
http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/kent/hi/front_page/newsid_8332000/8332066.stm .

In the interview clip, actor Brian Cox says the film is similar to SEVEN
SAMURAI and THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. I don't exactly see how this relates
to an actual siege of Rochester Castle, but it looks like it will be an
interesting film. And with filming of the Agincourt film to begin
shortly, it looks like we will have some exciting period stuff to watch
soon.

Kind regards,

Mungo Napier, Archer of Mallard Lodge
