So, in the past week or two there has been a lot of debate heated and not so
heated. I think/hope that we can all agree on some very important things.
1. Everyone has an opinion on something. And everyone has a right to their
opinion.
2. Some events have larger event fees than others, for any number of
reasons.
3. The SCA is a hobby that we all enjoy.
4. We are not always going to agree with each other on every topic.
5. No group, Autocrat, event staff is trying to price gouge their fellow
Scadians, event fees are set at a price for a reason. Whether we agree with
the reason or not.
6. Every person has a right to go to events or not go to events as they see
fit. For whatever reason that compels them.
7. Duke Logan typing "fo sho" made us all spit soda on our computer screen.
(oh wait... maybe that was just me....)
8. .... nope that was about it.

So, people have expressed their opinions, and others have responded.
People have discussed things that they see that need improving. Which is
wonderful as all of us can benefit from shared information.
That being said, can we please pick to another topic before people's
passion/tempers flare on these again?
I am not saying that people's opinions are not valid, but unless someone has
a new opinion to share I think maybe now is the time to move on.
And since I don't want to put forth a request for change without
facilitating the process, here are a few topics for you to choose from....

interesting stuff if you like period food.
