[MR] sort of OT - hardwood square cutouts

I'm searching for hard wood (not balsa) square cut outs to use for various craft projects.

I've seen a lot of balsa wood and other forms of thin wood cut outs but I'm hoping for 1.5 inch to 2 inch square cut outs that are from a very hard wood of some type that I can buy in bulk.

If you have suggestions for a source would you write me?
