[MR] fighter practice June 27 in Sacred Stone

The Drums of War that start this weekend will still be beating next week. In
the North, war looms! As Pennsic nears we have very few chances to practice
melee tactics.

The barony of Sacred Stone will host a baronial fighter practice Sunday,
June 27 at 1 p.m. The location is Beatty's Ford Park in Denver, NC.

The site features a large field with room for melees and pickups and a water
splash area for kids . . . or really overheated fighters.

We also have room for 2-3 day shades. If you would like to bring one,

- From Interstate 77, Take exit 25 (Hwy 73/Sam Furr Road)
- At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Hwy 73
- follow Hwy 73 for 8.1 miles to a major stop light intersection with
Business 16
- At the light, turn right onto Hwy 16 business
- Go north on Hwy 16 for 2.3 miles
- at a stoplight, turn right on Unity Church Road.
- Go 2.2 miles on Unity Church Road. Beatty's Ford Park is on your right

- Take Interstate 77 North to exit 25 (Hwy 73/Sam Furr Road)
