Greetings, 

I ask, nay implore you to halt his debate..it is not going anywhere but in
the toilet. To suggest that the SCA boycott sites based on some people's
conceptions of discrimination is in fact discriminating on MY beliefs and
desires being in the SCA. This organization does not include politics(
outside of the Society itself), religion or sexual preference for a reason.
This Society is supposed to be tolerant. Let's at least pretend like we are
the large dysfunctional family I have come to know and love. I really do not
care what side of the fence you are on..I deal with individuals on a
personal level. If my religious values are  offended by someone I know, I
simply file that in my brain and consider the source,( pick up  the book
from the hallway and tuck it safely in my room).To confront someone to try
to change them is not what the Society is about. Teaching through actions is
less confrontational and usually more effective. It is usually the Knight
who you SEE acting with Knightly virtues that you want to aspire to, not the
one who preaches his version and never shows anything in actions. I would
love to know how someone made the wonderful objects we see and use in the
Society than have someone  rant about being non period while wearing
mundane. Some of you will "get " my point others not. But please let's just
go back to being a Society of Medieval recreators and leave the modern world
alone, you are screwing with my "Happy Place".
