no, faceplant was the primary vehicle for distributing this one given the
demographics of the typical users and their propensity to click everything
and anything that they see.  faceplant uses a unique code for embedding
images that carries tracking software for market research to "better enhance
our users web experience" or whatever verbiage they use to spy on users web
usage.  this was the perfect way to hide this particular address book
hijacker virus and for whatever reason it only seems to effect people that
use web based email utilities like yahoo and hotmail.  the virus populates
based on the addresses in the infected users email account.

Ooohh...okay. So that is coming from Facebook, you think? I wonder if it is
the same sort of thing I get sometimes ( I get a "delivery failure" message
for weird messages I never sent in my primary email account.) I don't do
anything with Facebook except barely endure the account I do have, but I
wonder if I have anything like that.
