Hi there,

I agree completely.  In your minds, see if this model fits:  stop recruiting, people get tired of being officers/'autocrats, attendance drops.  I suspect you will find in most cases that if you prevent the first step, you won't see the other two, at least not in a big way.

I agree, all the groups we have been involved with face these same issues. "Replacing yourselves" is necessary in any group. Especially young people, and just plain new folk. It's amazing what great ideas and enthusiasm they can bring.
