[MR] suggestion for helping daytrip fees

Agreed.  $10 is our benchmark for daytripping.

Although I do think events should use the "no family will pay more than x" rule

YMMV, but we are a bit weary of primitive sites.  We're more likely to attend events that have a few luxuries.
