as a life long Christian, I really hate it when other so called Christians just don't get it.  Jesus Christ taught love and tolerance. love your enemy, turn the other cheek...now, that does not mean love a sin. Christ did not tolerate sin, but since we are all sinners, he died for us. Christians are supposed to live as good and sin free a life as possible and repent of their sins. we are also called as the Great Commission to bring others to Christ and God, because we believe that only through Jesus Christ can you go to heaven, and not go to hell. so if we love you,or even if we don't, we want you to come to heaven. this being said, by refusing to let non Christan children and adults into any Christan organization is committing a sin by turning someone away from a chance of becoming a Christan. as long as you did not try to teach non Christan beliefs in a Christian organization, no one should exclude you. I have had several  problems with the NC BSA.
 they told the autocrat of an event at the Rutherford,NC camp that we could have alcohol if we were discreet, however, red, the ranger who told us this, back peddled and said he never gave permission, on Sunday when his boss came by and saw the beer cans in the dumpster, and we were thus banned from all the local camps. red, by the way, is now at the BSA camp at Badin lake in Stanly county, NC. he is related to several other BSA camp rangers. when I tried last year to use the badin lake camp. red was all for it, but their secretary remembered the problem in Rutherford, blew it all out of proportion and we were told we could not use any of the local BSA sites. so they lied, and exaggerated...not a christian quality. therefore i no longer support any BSA fund raising activities. please don't judge Christians by some of the BSA groups. obviously too much nepotism locally.
