well thats not actually true.  apes, gorillas, and chimps all laugh when
tickled or teased.  those closest to us on an evolutionary scale have more
rhythmic laughter.  primates, like humans, are the only animals that are
evolved enough to make sounds while both inhaling and exhaling also.  nat
geo did a show on some of the studies last year and while this isnt the it

Apprentices, Squires, Cadets (added here for the sake of being obnoxious),
and Protégées need not be restrained as they are known to be completely
harmless and ineffectual. They must, however, have a note from their mommies
if they wish to be out past dark.

(-Alternative analysis: Pelicans travel in flocks.
Knights carry big, hard sticks.
Laurels are knowledgeable in all things.
And as for the apprentices, squires, "cadets", and protegees, well, keep
looking over your shoulder.  We can sneak up on you before you know it; and
we do not need notes.  We're subtle and can get away with a lot.)
