so in my attempt to better understand people i have to wonder.  there were a
couple of folks that seemed to get pretty riled up about the discussion
regarding the policies of the boy scouts in regard to the sca doing a demo
with them despite their stated bigotry.  those couple of folks seemed pretty
perturbed about the conversation and complained about it being not right for
this list as this list is supposed to be about middle evil blah blah blah.
im just wondering when those same people are going to start taking a stance
against the more than three times as many posts about jello wrestling,
nakedness, and greco roman wrestling as ways to determine the leadership of
a northern principality that so few people are really interested in.  i want
to believe them when they make claims about their objection to topics they
dont think belong (regardless of the power of the delete button of course)
but its really hard to take them seriously when this topic has generated so
many more emails and they havent spoken up yet.  or, that some sci-fi
convention is the same weekend as atlantias 30th anniversary (which created
almost as many emails as the boy scout topic).

i really am just curious.
