[MR] is that narcissism?

Greetings everyone,

While I can say that I appreciate the passion behind everyone's beliefs, I
do want to say that I was a member of the cub scouts and later boy scouts.
I am a gay man. At no point in my recollection do I remember any form of
intolerance or bigotry. As a matter of fact, what I do remember are the
leadership skills that the boy scouts taught me. I don't for one minute
regret ever having been a scout.

Now, with that being said, I am not a fan of the Scout's stance on certain
issues, but that is between the scouts, god, and I. I have no issue doing
demos for the scouts, but if I choose to not support the scouts directly
with money, that is my choice and not something that I expect of everyone
else. Sure, my taxes are going to facilities that the Scout's use, and I
don't have a problem with that. That's where our duely elected government
is sending it, and as long as I did my duty in voting, it's ok.

I believe that it is more intolerant and un-American to boycott against a
person or groups own beliefs. They have a right to them after all.

If I were in South Carolina, I would be offering my sword arm up to assist
and hopefully pass on some of the ideals that we try to strive for as a
Society.

Yours,
Brénainn
