[MR] funny how people get about what they find ok

I"ve said this to many people - I find it incredibly rude to decide for others what they may and may not discuss especailly on a public discussion list.
I understand the scout discussion even though I have no involvement in it becuse we do so many scout demos and use their camps often at a much cheaper rate than other groups because of when we use it etc.
Opposite of you I find it extremely offensive for anyone to appoint themselves in charge of what's allowed onlist and find it extremely offensive that anyone would decide it their right to tell everyone else to not talk announcing that your feelings are more important than theirs.
I also find it a silly discussion since most of these debates fizzle out on their own and no one required anyone to be onlist although if you're involved you should be here.
I myself have deleted many a discussion and never felt once the need to bully people about what they're allowed to discuss. Sometimes these disucssions break up group sometimes they don't. Assuming they always do is a very negative approach to life. Bullying people out of discussion is also a negative approach to life.
The delete key works just fine. It's not just about one person's inbox. It's about what the group needs to do. I've learned many interesting approaches to ideas from these discussions that I never though about before.
If I don't have time for it I delete it. I will not bully my neighbors about my vision of what is allowed.
