The Folger is an excellent suggestion, and it's close to the Library of Congress, which is certainly worth a visit -- especially if there's some hard-to-find book you are after.

You can't take books out of the Library of Congress, but you can look at them.

If you are interested in attending Storvik's fighter practice but don't have a car, you can walk from the College Park Metro station and probably someone would give you a ride back. I'm not sure who's holding onto the loaner gear at the moment. Usually we have some people hanging out to chat at fighter practice, and we have both heavy fighting and rapier going on, plus dance practice with live musicians.
