There's always the Folger Theater (www.folger.edu). The current exhibition is "Lost at Sea: The Ocean in English Imagination, 1550-1750", which feels appropriate for Atlantia.

The website blurb says that the collection includes: maps, astrolabes, compasses, books, symbols, and stories.

I am not going to be able to bring much gear, if any.
But I all ways like to stop and see what is being done in other kingdoms, if I can. A fighter practice with loner gear, would be heaven sent. Any thing else going on in the area would be great. Things like good Medieval Museums would be most helpful.

Years ago there were fighter practices near Tysons Corner also. Not terribly
far from DC.

Or was the inquiry more of a "general" stuff to do, and not SCA specific?
